Two physiotherapists from Tunisia who dared to jump to Germany – and now help others to successfully take the same path.
Our Story
In 2021, we, Marouene and Amine, were exactly where you might be today: In Tunisia, with a completed physiotherapy degree, good career prospects – but the desire to achieve more, to develop further and become part of the German healthcare system.
We set out on the journey. Learned German, had our diplomas recognized, filled out visa applications, found our way in a new culture. It wasn't always easy – but it was the best decision of our lives.
Today, five years later, we both work successfully in Germany, have continued our education, made friends, found a new home. And time and again we received inquiries from colleagues from Tunisia: "How did you do it? Can you help me?"

Why Fachkräftebrücke?
Back then, we would have wished for someone who not only explains the process to us, but really shows it – from their own experience. Not an agency that just mediates, but people who know how it feels to sit in a German authority for the first time or to take the specialist language exam.
